Media Services Department

Our Media Services Department is one of the library’s most popular areas. A wide variety of DVDs, CDs, videotapes, and magazines ensures there’s something for everyone. Our DVD collection ranges from the latest blockbusters to Academy Award winning classics. We also feature complete seasons of popular television shows, music concerts, documentaries, and foreign films from around the world.

All items in our collection are easily searched using our online library catalog. If you would like to suggest an item for purchase, please send us an online Purchase Request.

Video

Our video collection includes over 28,000 VHS fiction and nonfiction titles.

DVDs

The Upper Arlington Public Library was the first public library in Franklin County to offer DVDs to patrons. We have over 7,000 DVDs in our collection, which includes movies and nonfiction titles.

CDs

This collection contains 15,000 titles on compact discs. You’ll find classical, jazz, rock, new age, soundtracks, holiday music and much more.

Magazines & Books

A variety of magazines covering music, film, television and video are available for circulation. Reference books cover similar subjects, with an emphasis on reviews, mediagraphies and history.
